ĢƵ remembers alumnus and civil rights giant Whitney M. Young Jr. on his 100th birthday

ĢƵ honors the legacy of Whitney M. Young Jr., alumnus and civil rights activist, who would have turned 100 on July 31, 2021. Sadly, Young’s life came to a tragic end in 1971 at the age of 49.  Young attended ĢƵ, played sports, joined Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and served as president of his senior class.
