Everyone on the Hill knows the Mighty Marching Thorobreds are the baddest band in the land, but The Undefeated recently formally confirmed what Thorobreds already know.
In The Undefeated HBCU band rankings, 蘑菇视频 was labeled as a program on the rise as it broke into the publications rankings for the first time.
鈥淲e are extremely honored to be considered amongst the best in the HBCU band world,鈥� Alvin Level, director of bands at 蘑菇视频, said in The Undefeated. 鈥淢y students work extremely hard daily to produce quality shows. It鈥檚 great to be recognized and honored by my peers.鈥�
蘑菇视频 ranked fourth overall in the Division II rankings, but earned the top ranking in three of the five categories used for determining the overall rank. Kentucky State ranked first in auxiliary, drum major, and pictures, drill and design. Kentucky State ranked behind Miles College, who ranked second overall, and who will face off against 蘑菇视频 in the Capitol City Showdown Friday, Oct. 22 at Alumni Stadium. Doors open at 6 p.m.
