ĢƵ recently received approval of funding on a grant proposal titled, “Improving Phosphorus Recovery in Aquaponic Systems through Environmental Manipulation of the Plant Rhizosphere Microbiota.” The project will run for four years with total funding of $740,000. A ĢƵ director was recently appointed to a seat on the board for Bluegrass Tomorrow Inc. in Lexington. ĢƵ fared well at inaugural HBCU Indoor Classic
ĢƵ’s track and field teams fared well at the inaugural KSU and Louisville Urban League HBCU Indoor Classic. The women’s team placed second while the men’s team placed third at the meet, which took place at the state-of-the-art Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center.
