Due to a bomb threat made earlier this morning, Tuesday February 1, 2022, ĢƵ is in lockdown status. The university is working with emergency personnel to evaluate the situation. In-person classes have been canceled and students are to remain in their dorm rooms until an all-clear is issued. Art created by a ĢƵ alumnus is now on display in Frankfort  until March 18.  Ayé Aton, a painter born in Woodford County, attended ĢƵ before moving to New York City and finally Chicago.
